When I start Ubuntu a notice pops up every time….
Please unset QT_IM_MODULE and GTK_IM_MODULE environment variables and ‘ibus-daemon --panel disable’ should be executed as a child process of ibus-ui-gtk3 component.
Does anyone know the procedure on how to do this? And what does all this mean?
What operating system are you using? What applications did you install before you started seeing this notification?

Ubuntu 25.10 Beings how this is all kind of confusing to me, I don’t remember it happening after installing an app. I believe it started after I installed the Kubuntu program. I will read the article. Thank you.
