How to create symlinks with file manager in 26.04?

Ubuntu Version:
26.04

Desktop Environment
GNOME

Problem Description:
On Ubuntu 24.04 when dragging files between windows I could choose whether to move, copy or create link by holding Shift, Ctrl or both together respectively. On 26.04 I can only choose move or copy, if I hold down Shift and Ctrl together then it just moves it. There’s also no “Paste as link” option in the Right Click menu.

Am I missing something or has this functionality been removed? It was very useful, is the only way to create symlinks now through the command line?

Files Menu –> Preferences –> Optional Context Menu Actions –> Turn on switch “Create Link” .
