How do I save the display setting when I zoom in to make the txt and icons larger?

Ubuntu Support Template

Ubuntu Version:
26.04

Desktop Environment (if applicable):
Example: GNOME

Problem Description:
each time that I increase the txt size, and after shutdown it will revert back to the original size.

what do I need to do to save the setting, so I don’t need to keep zooming in every time I log in to use the computer?

How do you enlarge text? with Settings > Seeing > Text size for me it remains after reboot. After changing size do you see the little man at the top right? what happens if you click it?

I was using the ctrl key, and scrolling the mouse wheel to enlarge the txt.

I tried your suggestion, and changed it in the accessibility settings, and hit apply.

That did the trick, thanks a bunch dude!

clicking on the little man, and hitting the zoom button makes the entire screen move around when I move the mouse.

that was kinda weird, lol.

I don’t get why that would be useful, but that’s another topic for another time, lol.

You must click the ‘large text’ not zoom.

Zoom works as you described, is normal.
