How can I check if all my hardware drivers are working properly in Ubuntu?

Hello, I am new to Ubuntu and would like to check whether all my hardware drivers, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, graphics, and sound, are working properly. Is there an easy or built-in way in Ubuntu to verify that everything is set up correctly? Thank you.

Did you notice any problem with the aforementioned devices?

If not then they’re working properly. Nvidia GPUs may work “better” with proprietary drivers, if available (you can check at Software & Updates > Additional Drivers). Other than that everything is already supported in kernel modules or it isn’t. There’s no “built-in way in Ubuntu to verify that everything is set up correctly” the same way there isn’t such thing in Windows.

We have System Settings and System Monitor. Laptops will have something called “Power Statistics.”

There is a utility called inxi. It has to be installed. If you are not careful it will throw so much information you will need a university degree to understand the printout.

inxi manpage

Just do not ask me to interpret the printout.

We also have various Linux commands.
