Hey, did you know YOU can do these things?

Let’s remind everybody that Ubuntu Discourse users at Trust Level 3 (“regular”) can…

  • Recategorize and rename topics

  • Add and edit tags

So if it has a terrible name, or a dozen useless tags, or is in the wrong category, YOU can fix it!

  • Some flags cast (on new users) immediately will auto-silence them and auto-hide their posts until the page has been reviewed.

Spot a spammer? YOU can squash them!

  • Optionally convert posts to into wiki (editable by any other users)

Need a wiki post for brainstorming or frequent updating? You got one.

It’s in your profile:

How do I increase my Trust Level to ‘regular’?

Just keep participating and helping out. You’ll be there soon.

Actually, I did know that, but thanks for the reminder and encouragement to make use of those privileges; was a little reluctant to do so, until now.

One thing, though, I only saw the “turn into wiki” option once and cannot find it right now. Am I just blind or has something changed?

Oh wait, where has my “Regular” badge gone?

Thank you for the great reminder of these.
