Hi people!
Here’s Ilario, I had this Ubuntu One account since eons but just used it from time to time for reporting bugs, just realized that there is also this huge forum 
I’m located in Barcelona (precisely, Sant Andreu de Palomar district, even if I was born in Italy) and currently looking for a job. Linux has always been one of my top hobbies (trying to be a power user, coordinating the amazing LibreMesh community, …) and also a work tool (using ARM single board computers for controlling electronics), even if I am a fanatic since when I started using Red Hat 7.1 in 2002 (I was 14 back then, and it took few more years to get a 56k internet connection). Maybe I am not the only one who thought: “if my day job is about my hobby, then I lose my hobby”. So I enjoyed working in chemistry (PhD and post-doc), electronic engineering (in a small company spin off of a research center) and doing some coding (Python, R, Matlab, bash, Lua), but now I feel it’s finally time to really contribute full time to some good open source stuff, so I applied for a position at Canonical 
Ah, and regarding computers, what I really want is that people (and myself) can have a computer that just works (and does not spy on you or sell your data or push advertisement to you), so I think I will go around this forum looking for some juicy bug to smash.

P.S. currently my other hobbies are: attending the local hacklab, as mentioned above, and designing novel board games (with the No Board Games collective noboardgames.com).
