There was a worrisome comment about systemd being compromized at the source-code level by submits to the main libraries.
Can anyone advise as to
- an awareness of the issue,
- a sense of the perceived severity of risk, and
- extent, if any, of the impact if it has found its way into the Ubuntu code-tree?
The claim that “systemd has been compromised” is easily refuted by simply checking the link you provided.
This is, upon investigation, merely another age-verification topic, so I’m closing it.
It’s a legal question, not a technical question. Until Canonical provides a legal opinion, we’re not opening this subject to internet speculation by random non-lawyers.
