My name is Dave and I’m getting back into Linux after 20+ years. Started with Slackware and then Red Hat early 90s. I was a Sysadmin for 30 years. I am interested in learning about AI models and tuning; audio and video production; learning Python. It’s a lot of fun and interesting work getting back into things, plus I hate retirement. I’ve always been a “hardware guy” but getting into the software side now. I just solved a video display problem looking through the forum, which put me onto the correct log file to find the issue. Awesome !!

welcome. I have a similiar story to you. I used unix/linux through college. My favorite distros back then were Mandrake and used redhat. Today Ubuntu is the best. I have completely moved over from Windows and Mac for a decade now for my personal compute and i can not image ever moving back.
