Edit! Returned for service.

Wrong:

I do not see keysmith as supported by Ubuntu - it is not in the software repository and appears to be maintained by 3rd party. As such the likely hood of others here on Discourse using the app is negligible.
Looking at the link above that you provided there is a link to report bugs. As well a link to their forum for guidance is given, I suggest that you seek help there,

-not much we can do in this case-

//
I stand corrected as keysmith is found in the plucky repo. All objections removed.

-as the case may be-

the above link is for keysmith (as a alternative to bypass the issue), the issue i mentioned for this thread is the gnome-authenticator app from the repos just crashes on kubuntu

as for keysmith being a 3ed party not supported app, idk what you are talking about

$ apt-cache policy keysmith
keysmith:
  Installed: 24.12.3-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 24.12.3-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 24.12.3-0ubuntu1 500
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu plucky/universe amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

pqwoerituytrueiwoq Well well !

I do stand corrected and I remove my objections.

24.04:
sysop@Xm2404:~/uwn$ cd
sysop@Xm2404:~$ apt list keysmith
Listing... Done
sysop@Xm2404:~$

Too hasty in my judgement.
-carry on-
