Hello everyone,
I want to start learning C and get familiar with Linux system architecture. After that, I plan to move on to Rust so that in the future I can contribute to Linux projects—not only by developing applications but also by participating in kernel development. I have been passionate about GNU/Linux since I was a child, and I want to dive deeper into this ecosystem.
I have a question: is it a good approach to start with C and then move to Rust for professional system development? Currently, I am a simple backend developer and I am proficient in high-level languages.
I would really appreciate it if you could recommend books, YouTube channels, roadmap, or any other resources for this path.
