This covers a couple of weeks as I was (mostly) on holiday(ish) during release week
Plucky
- Release notes updates
- ISO testing
- Attempted to replicate upgrade issues when they first reared their head, but couldn’t (initially) on the Pi
- Reviewed and merged @r41k0u’s PR to add camera docs to the boards documentation
- Added plucky to the board documentation support matrix
- Prepped the next doc PRs to deal with forthcoming EOLs
Noble
- Supported Core debugging of PPP issue (LP: #2106751)
General
- Fixed up the plucky release notes
- An erroneous update deleted a pile of revisions
- Whipped up a hacky script to extract the revision and fix it, in the course of which discovered:
- Discourse doesn’t appear to provide any means to retrieve (or even view) a particular revision outright, only a diff of revisions (formatted in such a way as to make extraction of the actual source painful)
- I’m more convinced than ever, Discourse is entirely the wrong tool for release notes: it’s not a version control system (by any reasonable definition), it’s barely a wiki (if you squint), and it has none of the facilities you actually want in documentation (like a contents list)
- Patched up a couple of PRs (#373, #376) for the Sphinx doc starter pack
- Made a quick pass of the debcrafters list and made some alterations
- Some IRC support
- Take home tests
- Pi meetings
