Rust & Toolchain Work:

• Working on the Rust 1.97 Noble backport: fixed all issues, and now its building successfully (risc-v still ongoing);
• Chisel slice definitions: PRs #1034 and #1162 were merged ;

Maintenance:

• Forwarded the pypy3 patch to Debian (Bug #1138322), and it got accepted;
• Opened a pypy3 Merge Proposal to the Ubuntu archive (~ruancomelli/ubuntu/+source/pypy3/+git/pypy3/+merge/511661), currently tracking feedback.

rocks:

• Tracked and coordinated the Ubuntu Stonking Beta images generation. Infra outage wiped out all the efforts, but at least subsequent spins should be smoother.
• Debugged the new torrent seeder. It weirdly works when using the hostname, but not with the IP address
• Sponsored a bunch of packages.
• Reviewed “Unapproved” queue items.

Making the stonking test suite golden:

• Worked on fixing multiple issues in the desktop smoke suite including libvirt network issue on the Jenkins runner, corrections in UTAH initrd unpacking and repacking, MP links (1, 2, 3)
• Fixed an install hang during server VM boot in its smoke test MP
• Worked on unifying storage locations on the Jenkins runners where some tests use / instead of the workspace whose FS belongs to a different disk MP
• Created a libvirt template that includes amd64v3 capabilities for our tests on the newly added amd64v3 ISO MP
• Working on adding Raspi tests with Testflinger in our CI
