Ubuntu release upgrader work

• resolute to stonking upgrade will switch the alternative to sudo-rs even if sudo.ws was selected. Implemented a quirk to detect if sudo.ws was selected and maintain this.
• Above work ready for review, looking at this now for same mp

• Tracked and coordinated a bit on the Ubuntu Desktop 24.04.5.1 image.
• Made good progress on the configuration of the new torrents environment: tracker is operational, bittorrent client seeder is almost there.
• Verified my python-jenkins SRU (Bug #2107468 “[SRU]: python-jenkins is broken on Ubuntu 24.04” : Bugs : python-jenkins package : Ubuntu).
• Addressed feedback on the seeded-in-ubuntu client update (https://code.launchpad.net/~skia/ubuntu-dev-tools/+git/ubuntu-dev-tools/+merge/508992).
• Sponsored a bunch of packages to get them in time for Stonking Beta.
