Hello
Just got back from the mid-year break and still getting back up to speed. This week, I:
- backported Rust 1.94 from Resolute to Noble. It’s currently still building on
riscv, but I’ve confirmed that a previous ~ppaN version built correctly and all autopkgtests passed;
- polished and opened a PR introducing a helper tool for doing Rust backports. It’s still in the early stages, and there are many known areas for improvement. Check it out: Add backporting workflow by ruancomelli · Pull Request #1 · rmcnew/thermite · GitHub - I successfully used it to do the backport above

- applied for and got a Visa for the Mexico sprint

- caught up with the many Mattermost messages from my time off.
Just like Ruan, I just got back from the mid-year break. (Actually I think we are the only people on the team working right now.)
Rust
- Successfully test devpack-for-rust install workflow; Ruan and I figured out some small improvements to make.
- Communicate with Snap team ahead-of-time for classic confinement registration
Admin
- Admin stuff for Mexico sprint
- Catch up on email/Mattermost/Discourse/etc etc etc
- Expense expensive expenses
