Linux 7.0 RISC-V backport to 24.04

  • Kernel tested on the supported hardware.

openstack-hypervisor

  • Create a patch to enable building the snap on riscv64.

libvirt

  • Enable setting the vector register length (vlen). Patches sent upstream

prometheus-hardware-exporter

  • Check building on riscv64 works.

stubble

  • Adjust to work around incorrect compatible and model properties in the SpacemiT K3 device-trees exposed by EDK II.

Boot:
Boot scripting language - syntax discussions, examples, requirements. Breaking down and analysing various Boot processes

PE:
dfx-mgr testing latest with fpgad

Rust

  • Refactor devpack-for-rust tree picker to be cleaner and more flexible
  • Analyze permissions / user spoofing for devpack-for-rust
  • Lament Rust’s lack of a XDG-User-Dirs implementation that works on other users

Java

  • Completed DRY refactoring of OpenJDK FIPS packages.
  • Proposed a Spring AI tutorial about Tool calling.

Zig

  • Ghostty’s -Dcpu=baseline fix accepted into resolute-proposed.
  • zig-defaults on stonking updated to zig0.16

Cloud-native tooling

  • Prototype of running application unit tests in a chiseled (java|rust|python|dotnet) container.
