Rust

• Cargo-auditable support should get into production by end of week! Big thanks to Max for his expertise on the administrative of things; we couldn’t have got my code into production this fast if not for him.
• Write some docs and a blog post blurb about C-A.
• Work on rustc-1.94 update to Resolute, so that developers of Rust packages can use Unicode 17 and write more complicated lifetimes surrounding closures.

Other

• I completed my first Peer Buddy onboarding! Welcome to Canonical, Morgan!

• Released .NET snap updates containing the 10.0.104 security update.
• Packaged and started the SRU process for the .NET 10.0.105 out-of-band release.
• Submitted PR to enable the new .NET plugin (v2) on rockcraft: feat: enabled new .NET plugin (v2) on 25.10+ by mateusrodrigues · Pull Request #1140 · canonical/rockcraft · GitHub
• Created a first version of a .NET daily CI for Ubuntu, where daily builds of the .NET toolchain occur for different combinations of Ubuntu releases and .NET release branches: GitHub - canonical/toolchains-ci: CI scripts and definitions for daily builds of Ubuntu toolchains · GitHub
• Started experimenting with .NET 11 packaging.

• openjdk-26 release build is available in resolute-proposed. It will be copied to -updates after resolute release.
• Prepared blog draft after OpenJDK 25 default in Ubuntu 26.04

• working on configuration for running plugins

distro:

• sponsored .net 10.0.105 and rust uploads.

• no change rebuild for clojure dependencies.

Error Tracker

• Finished rolling out the DNS updates of daisy.ubuntu.com to point to the new service.
