Feature suggestion - Co-Working feature

Hi to all. This is my idea on how to improve the user experience on Ubuntu. The feature is called co-working and it is all about community. If a feature can be added for a user to opt-in to use a collaborative seperate desktop that can be shared with other Ubuntu users in which they can see a list of users that they can work with with the tools already installed in their system. Once the desktop is shared the other person can see what appears on the other’s screen along with chat. I know this because that is what I want to have and use!

Thanks for the idea. I moved the post to the lounge category, your original category is for other kind of projects.

I would not be surprised if Ubuntu developers and Canonical employees are not already using some collaborative software. There have been programs/applications available for doing that for a while.

I think it is called “whiteboarding.” I would not advise an open invitation for anyone to join the session.

If you used a video conferencing application to have regular sessions with your dispersed family would you allow just anyone knowledge of the address and password.
