Failed to update

Hello everyone I have a question about updating my system Ubuntu 24.04, for along time now every time I try to update my Ubuntu system I get this failed to download message after I try and close it, it will then update my system. Can someone explain to me why it will not work on the first attempt

I tried changing the download resources but still the same results. Thank so much

Oh yeah and everything is OK with my internet connection

Do you get the same error if you run the update command in the terminal?

What are your sources?

Show us inxi -r please,

Thanks.

Understood thank you my friend

Here is the output from, inxi -r

I tried changing sources but don’t make much difference. I mean I can try it again if you think it will help

I’d run update in terminal, sudo apt update.

The output should show any errors including the offending repo.

Yes when I use the terminal it’s OK just when I use the updater, I would think the updater should work

Just out of curiosity post the output of sudo apt update.

I think this is caused by a bad PPA because I ran sudo apt update, and I got a error within that update. I then access the ( Other source) and removed that PPA and the updater seems to be working. I will keep my eye on it. Thank you

Bad/outdated PPAs are usually the culprit.
