Problem Description:
When trying to update through Discover, I keep getting a message that there is a problem with the update, and when I view details, I keep getting the message below.

What I’ve Tried:
Restarting the computer. I just keep getting the prompt to update again, and then it closes.

Perhaps, Discover is temporarily misbehaving
Try via the terminal

sudo apt update

sudo apt upgrade

Alternatively

sudo apt full-upgrade

From man apt

full-upgrade performs the function of upgrade but will remove currently installed packages if this is needed to upgrade the system as a whole

This is still the problem. Try reinstalling those packages and then (optional) removed any of the them if not needed. You need to fix this in order to update the system and/or install new software.

Where did you get that hid-xpadneo/v0.9-222-gcd25680 thing from, this is surely not from the Ubuntu archive and breaks your kernel installation (most likely because it was not designed for this kernel version and needs the maintainer to update it for newer kernel headers)

You should seek support where you got that code from or simply remove it from your machine to make the kernel update not fail …

I’ll be honest, I can’t remember where I got it from, but it looks like removing it from my machine did the trick. Thanks.
