Dpkg-deb: error: paste subprocess was killed by signal (Broken pipe)

Running as root. This is ubuntu installation as LXC in proxmox.

avidesh2004 - Oh !

ogra - What sharp eyes you have - and the insight that you share

avidesh2004 be aware that we can not support 6.8.12-9-pve as it is out-of-tree we have no idea of what other changes may have been done,
Can we work with an Ubuntu kernel ?
what shows:

ls -al /boot/
dpkg -l linux-image-generic

maybe in this all issues can be resolved.
Else — well there is the LXD category on this instance that will be of interest too to you.

-which way did he go, George-

root@aadmedia:~# ls -al /boot/
total 8
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Apr 22 2024 .
drwxr-xr-x 22 root root 4096 Apr 26 09:55 ..
root@aadmedia:~# dpkg -l linux-image-generic
dpkg-query: no packages found matching linux-image-generic

ok will explore LXD catagory

avidesh2004 - Ouchie

Considering those last results - hey, way beyond my range of experience, At this point it may well be best to ask the container people for guidance,

Unless - you are willing and want to go out on a limb - that has the potential to be cut off behind you. Now I do have a far out thought. I for one am open to a continued learning experience.

-sometimes it ain’t what it is-

@bashing-om , managed to fix the issue. Guys at Proxmox forum helped. fsck did the trick. Thought of informing you since you have been pursuing this with me. Thanks a lot.
