Oh! Yes, perhaps waiting until the next release would be the good sign that I needed now. I am trying to upgrade via sudo do-release-upgrade -d and I am getting a lot of Failed to fetch
errors now. So, I keep safe and wait! ![]()
The error messages are because the -d switch means upgrade to the development version. Ubuntu 26.04 is no longer a development version. Be careful. Using the -d switch may upgrade you to Ubuntu 26.10 development version. Already work is being done to develop Ubuntu 26.10.
Until recently it was possible to use the -d switch to upgrade 24.04 to 26.04 development version. Or, 25.10 to 26.04 development version. But for the next 26 weeks the development version is 26.10.

Yes, I agree on that and knew it before, but the thing is that if I send the command without the -d flag, it doesn’t pull the version 26.04 yet, and it is because the version 26.04 is still on 26.04.0, so that was why I was attempting to pull it with the flag, but it didn’t work. Maybe it will work if I wait for a few more days.
BTW, Thanks a lot for your comments, amigo ![]()
