These contents are aligned with the central theme of UbuConLA and will serve as a prelude to the in-person event that will be held at the University of Azuay (Cuenca, Ecuador).
Yesterday we had the privilege of welcoming Michael Estrada (Ecuador) at Pre-UBUCONLA 2025, where he delivered the workshop: “A picture is worth a thousand words: The Future of Computer Vision.”
His presentation allowed us to reflect on the impact and opportunities that computer vision offers across different fields.
We thank Michael for his valuable contribution and everyone who joined us in this collective learning and knowledge-building journey towards UBUCONLA 2025.
Huge thanks to every workshop leader for their invaluable contribution, and to all the volunteers who made this virtual event possible. Your commitment truly made the difference!
Now, we are getting ready for the main event: the UbuConLA, taking place on October 16th and 17th in Cuenca, Ecuador
