I thought this would be put as off-topic in other categories. Does 18.04 have some listing for "Peripherals and Devices " connected to Ubuntu ?
I tried 17.10 today. Looks like most asked features in 16.04 is available on 17.10. I think, for personal use, sticking with LTS is not a good choice.
This comes up quite often in the support venues. I think it’s important to gauge the user’s experience and feelings before making a recommendation. Lots of folks are very happy with LTS for personal use, lots of folks are very happy with the six-month releases for personal use.
…And lots of folks install the wrong one first and then try to Frankenstein it into the other. That’s when we meet them.

Most software PPAs support LTS. That’s why I liked to stay with it. I use apps like Android Studio and the likes. When you try to wear the developer gown, it is better to stay with the LTS.
