Debian, Fedora images?

In the Multipass Tutorial, there’s this list of potential images:

$ multipass find

But, apparently with the latest 1.16.3 installed (on Linux and Mac), I’m not seeing Debian or Fedora as options when running the ‘find’ command. What am I missing? Thanks!

Hi @jjdavis-uofa - You were looking at the latest version of the documentation which relates to the upcoming Multipass 1.17 release. The stable documentation version refers to the current public release 1.16.x.

Thus, creating virtual machines with Debian and Fedora is not a released feature yet.

Thanks – obvious followup question :grinning_face: is there a schedule for releasing 1.17? Casual browsing hasn’t turned up anything about that.

We are finalizing the open work to reach feature freeze in a few days. Given that the last release was quite a while ago, testing and bugfixing might take a while. We hope to get this done within the next 2-3 weeks.
