How do I get the Connection Indicator icon back?
The Connection Indicator icon has left the building!!!
With my connection the way it is these days, I need that indicator icon.
Have you accidentally removed Status Notifier?
If it’s been removed, you can easily add it to the panel.

Right Click Panel > Configure Panel > Widgets > Status Notifier > Configure (three horizontal dots) > nm-tray > Always show
I checked that location and it wasn’t there.
I used timeshift and working backwards through the times from the most recent, I got it back.
I believe it was removed because something else being disabled or removed.
A lesson learned here:
Check the dependant’s and dependencies before doing anything.
