Hello!
Ive been trying to install Ubuntu 25.10 Questing Desktop on my laptop but I cant get past the screen “Try or Install Ubuntu”, after i press Enter it just loops and i can see “_” mark on the left corner, and then it just jumps back to grub menu.
My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 5x Snapdragon X Plus.
Have anyone had success of installing Ubuntu on this laptop?
If you read the Support and Help rules you’ll read
Ubuntu questing (25.10) is still an unreleased product, even though it has [~just] reached Final/RC, so it’s not yet a on-topic in the Support and Help section.
At this stage of the process; bugs should be filed, as they’re much easier to deal with BEFORE the product is actually released; it’s what Quality Assurance testing is for!
For reporting bugs I’ll provide ReportingBugs - Community Help Wiki , and to record your Quality Assurance testing you can record it at Questing Final | Ubuntu QA and also link your bug report there, which will get the most attention from developers.
