Can some administrator change my username to what it used to be

My old username used to be garyed but somehow it got changed to what it is now.

Is there any way some administrator could change my username to garyed

Well it seems we are unable to change it, system says the name is already taken,

Please suggest 3 alternatives in order of preference.

I wonder if it was taken by me because that was my username in the old Ubuntu forums & somehow I

messed things up when I tried to move over to to the Discourse forum. Can you try in order:

I will ping a site admin to see whether they can change it to garyed, if not then we will use one of the alternatives.

For the record; I’ve just edited the original post & commented out the support template that didn’t appear to apply.

At the top right of the post there is a pen showing edits/history, so anyone can see what I (in effect) removed; or when viewed in RAW mode see what I added (ie. comment strings), so it’ll be easy to undo if I made a mistake and commented out something you’d prefer I didn’t @garyed
