Not sure where to ask this, but what happened to the bup package in focal? Is there a reason why this isn’t available anymore? I was using this for backups.
I think I found a clue: bup is still using python 2, and it doesn’t seem like python 3 support will be likely: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=936251

Ok, I guess I’ll stop using bup for now. Seems like this is the perfect time to move to zfs-based backups 
If anyone is interested, you should still be able to package the latest version of bup in a snap using core18.
