Ubuntu Version:
22.04 LTS
Problem Description:
I have a Protoarc XK01 plus bluetooth keyboard that I’m trying to get connected to my laptop. The GUI bluetooth interface won’t show the keyboard at all. I already have a bluetooth mouse connected fine. Putting the keyboard into pairing mode shows nothing on the laptop.
I’m thinking I may need to use the command line, but am unsure what commands I need. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Adam
Protoarc XK01 plus bluetooth keyboard was released in June 2024.
Generally, new hardware requires a recent kernel.
Please try a live session of Ubuntu 24.04.3 or Ubuntu 25.10

Thank you. I’ll give it a try and report back.

You, my new best friend, are a genius!
I downloaded a live CD from work, and popped it onto a memory stick. I then booted my laptop with the 24.04 image. The keyboard paired immediately!
I then went through a software upgrade, so I’m now on 24.04 and writing this reply using my new XK01 plus keyboard.
Thank you SO MUCH for your help!
