something very trivial, yet if someone come across it, to spend less time than me.
I’m taking about new blender version >5, where if first opened, after an upgrade, it offers the opportunity to choose theme. I chose to transfer options from version 4.3 and after that I couldn’t find where I could change the theme again. So I was stuck with dark theme even though my original one wasn’t dark.
So, I went under .config/blender and deleted both files 4.3 and 5.0. After opening blender again, I had the option to change the theme anew and set it to light. Erasing just 5.0 folder didn’t do the trick.
Did you ask the Blender folks about this? For the most part, we’re just packaging and providing it, but don’t develop Blender. You might want to ask in their community support areas: https://www.blender.org/support/
I just mentioned it, because it took me some time to be able to adjust it to my liking and because it wasn’t so easy and straightforward as it used to, I posted it here in case someone comes across it. I do not say that this might be the only way though. I didn’t want to mess more with the options of altering the theme colors. In the old days there were some themes available from the splash screen, that now I wasn’t able to find.
