Backing up from a windows machine to a Ubuntu server

Hi, I want to back up a remote windows machine to my local server running Ubuntu. The remote is in another country.

I want to do it over a vpn so I have to set up that and relevant certificates, with only acess to the servers LAN ip address and nothing else.

I also have a Dynamic DNS.

I don’t need to do any routing tricks or anything like that to limit the acess to that address only?
