Back to cookies

Running with ubuntu 24.04

I still need to know how to deal with cookies. I am using firefox, firefox lets me clear data and manager data. I took a look. I fear its not particularly dealing with 1 cooky at a time. For instance, Under Google, I am told there are 108 cookies! This is a rather large group and that is just one. There is no way to learn just what they look like or the info, etc. I do know I am going to have to do something about them but I am at a loss.

I have checked both Software and Ubuntu Software (Ubuntu Software actually has software called Cookie). What I need, I think, is a program that can help me. It also has to be easy and not too dangerous. I would really be interested in any and all suggestions.

Thank you…

My browser set to always use private browsing mode.

My browser set to clear all cookies when the browser closes.

I don’t worry about cookies as cookies are a necessary part of browsing.

This is a good ad-on imo.
I have used it in the past and have no complaints.

I clear cookies and history at the end my browsing session, but that is a preference not a recommendation. There are some sites that offer options for only the essential cookies needed to visit the site which I like. Some sites will log me out as soon as the tab is closed as well.

I just get rid of them every time. Seems it makes no difference. (then, again, it might - just watching right now so far it seems allright)

Thanks for the reply!

As a hypoglycemic I need my cookies.

…I’ll see my way out.
