hi, i’m new in ubuntu. So today i have installed ubuntu 20.04 on my asus vivobook. At first, every things seem fine but after 1 hour later, i realized my CPU FAN is always running without any reasons, i check my system monitor but noting is running heavily on my laptop. So, i tried to restart my laptop several time but it’s still happening. So, i tried to solve my problem by searching from internet but it’s so less for asus laptop and noting happened, still running my cpu fan.
So, what should i do? I don’t want to uninstall my ubuntu any suggestions ??
This isn’t a place for support you can paste in Reddit or somewhere else like the Ubuntu forums askubuntu or in irc. Hey you might want to checkout tlp and powertop also they might help if they don’t then use a hwe kernel or something newer then 5.4 if that dosen’t help then please go to the forums or somewhere else for support.
