After returning from lock screen, Chrome colours are burnt

After returning from lock screen (no sleep), Chrome colours are burnt - only Chrome, the rest of the system is ok.
whole Chrome look (not only webpage) is burnt - I mean address bar, bar with extensions as well

however extra extensions dialog or main menu still look ok.

It happened a few times already, in the last few days, I suspect after update to Plasma 6.5.5 ?
Kubuntu 25.10

you can even see that on a screenshot https://i.imgur.com/slfbF65.png

and this is how it looks in Firefox in the same moment

I have the exact same problem running KDE Neon Plasma, since latest update. I want to add that it looks like that the number of colors are way less than normal. 256 or even 16 colors? Closing Chrome and opening again fixes it till next time screensaver kicks in.

exactly this, burnt colours = like 16 colours (posterize effect or high contrast, but also brighter)

I’ve added it here, not sure if it’s a proper place https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/404917657/after-returning-from-lock-screen-chrome-colours-are-burnt?hl=en

Go to chrome://flags, search for “Force Color Profile,” and set it to “sRGB” to correct the color rendering issue.

This advice did not work for me; what are your results?

For the record: It has been fixed in chrome version 144.0.7559.109.

Cheers!

I think it helped, didn’t have the issue in last 2-3 days (chrome updated)
