Ubuntu Version:
20.04 or a newer version yet to be installed
Desktop Environment (if applicable):
XFCE but probably not applicable
Problem Description:
i am trying use a new headset on a system i have been using an old headset on for 2 years with no problem. when i turn on the old headset it says “pairing” then soon says “connected” and i see graphical indications (now i play a video with sound and i can hear it). when i turn on the new headset it says “pairing” and nothing more happens.
apparently some data in /var/lib/bluetooth is recognizing the old headset but not the new one. i would like to know the command to tell linux bluetooth to accept a connection from my new headset, preferably while still accepting connections from the old headset
