Abstract
SpacemiT is accelerating open innovation for the RISC‑V community with the launch of its new K3 platform - a high‑performance, developer‑friendly solution built to power the next wave of RVA23‑compatible RISC‑V hardware. In this session, SpacemiT will share how its open source initiatives and technical contributions are driving accessible RISC‑V development. Joined by Canonical, SpacemiT will showcase how Ubuntu 26.04 serves as the preferred operating system for the K3 evaluation kit, reflecting a shared commitment to openness, collaboration, and community‑driven progress.

Yanbang Sun (Will)
Yanbang Sun (Will) is the Founder and President of SpacemiT (Zhuhai) Technology Co., Ltd., where he leads the company’s strategic direction across product, software, and system development. Prior to founding SpacemiT, he played a key role in shaping the RISC‑V ecosystem at the Beijing Open Source Chip Research Institute and spent over a decade at Allwinner Technology, holding multiple senior R&D and senior management positions. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Wireless Communications and Business Administration from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
