Same here. Theming broken and Nautilus takes ages to open.
There is a workaround posted on the bug tracker but i think you may need to lock the version after applying or updates will try and install the broken version again.
It can take a minute for terminal to open to apply the fix.
Oh, there’s a fix? Just posted about the terminal issues (like a browser preference)…
Do you have an accurate link to that process? I’m overdue a fresh install, and am equally quite intrigued to see how my dev install scripts will likely need updating, so could be a good exercise on a vm for me anywho… ![]()

Thank you for sharing this with the community, it is much appreciated.
Bug fixed now. Abnormal service can be resumed.
I am testing Resolute on two physical computers and on Virtual Computers on other physical computers running Noble.
Great work
Is it safe now to update to xdg-desktop-portal-gnome/resolute 50~alpha-0ubuntu1 version or I need to apply the fix?
50~alpha-0ubuntu2 is the fixed version which is in the repos now. (“apt-cache policy xdg-desktop-portal-gnome” will show the available version if you want to check before pulling the trigger.)
The fix was released into the repo replacing the broken version. A regular update will install the updated package and will work fine.
Yes, thank you! Updated, the issue is fixed!
