21.10 release parties

Ubuntu 21.10 releases next month and a few of us were thinking about the old tradition of release parties We want to encourage people and LoCos to come back to this tradition and to host or run or attend release parties again So, we put together a blog post with some advice on how to do it and a little bit of speculation, but what do you think?

I’m organizing an Ubuntu 21.10 release party in Durham North Carolina!

6PM October 14, 2021 @ Kramden Institute in Durham, NC

I’ll be giving a talk on what’s new in Ubuntu 21.10 as well as some other desktop related topics. I’d welcome anyone else in the area to join and suggest topics they would like to present.

We’ll have some laptops set up with Ubuntu Desktop 21.10 installed for people to play around with.

Lenovo will be participating, more details on that to come!
