Thoroughly mystified by 16978 messages during boot, saying
[timestamp etc] DiscoverNotifier[5622]: qt.quick.styledtext: StyledText doesn't support entity "#110"
(the actual entity varies, of course).
My box seems to run normally. The main problem is that I know nothing about DiscoverNotifier. What is it? What can make it complain 17000 times during startup? Where should I begin to look?
Discover is a graphical software manager for the Plasma workspace.
It helps users easily and quickly find applications and other software
they might want to install.

As obvious it may seem, I needed that clue, thanks. Perhaps a little warning against giving unsearchable names to components and utilities. Why it threw up remains to be answered.
